Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Vault application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Vault ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the App and all related services.

Vault is an investment portfolio tracking application for iOS that allows users to manually track investments across multiple asset classes, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, precious metals (gold and silver), bonds, and real estate.

The App provides live price updates from third-party data providers and offers premium analytics features (including AI-powered insights, geographic exposure analysis, sector diversification, portfolio risk scoring, and allocation insights) through a paid subscription.

Important: Vault is a tracking and informational tool only. It does not provide financial advice, execute trades, or manage investments on your behalf. All investment decisions remain solely your responsibility.

3.1 Vault stores your portfolio data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not create user accounts or store your financial data on external servers.

3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and for all activities that occur through the App on your device.

3.3 If you choose to join our waitlist or provide your email address, you consent to receiving communications related to the App, including product updates and launch notifications.

4.1 Certain premium features of the App require a paid subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and billing cycles are presented within the App and processed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.

4.2 Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.

4.3 Refunds for subscription payments are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policies.

5.1 All content, design, graphics, logos, and software in the App are the intellectual property of Vault and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

5.2 You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

5.3 You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

6.1 The App integrates with third-party services for market data, including but not limited to stock prices, cryptocurrency prices, and precious metal spot prices. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.

6.2 Market data is provided "as is" for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a sole basis for investment decisions.

6.3 Third-party service availability may be subject to rate limits, outages, or discontinuation beyond our control.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VAULT, ITS AFFILIATES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, INVESTMENT LOSSES, OR GOODWILL.

VAULT'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vault operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
